- for scoping and the preparatory phase, our 'Scope Gatekeeping Flowchart' and 'Scope Freeze Milestone planning';

- our 'buy-in' planning sessions to determine the critical path for the execution and to ensure commitment from all parties concerned approximately two months prior to the turnaround;
- the 'Readyness Review' (risk analysis), executed four weeks prior to starting shutdown of the plant;
- the 'Last Minute Task Risk Analysis', before a task is actually carried out in practice to enhance safety;
- and last but not least our 'Cost Sheet Method' not only accurately tracks costs, but also makes them transparent, from determining the budget to the final invoice!
Preparation of the turnaround
Good preparation is essential in managing and executing a turnaround. To do that we use the 'Cold Eyes Review method'. This baseline assessment forms the basis of an extensive SWOT analysis. What's the situation at the plant, and what's required for a perfect turnaround? Particular attention is paid to: working processes, turnaround intervals, internal teamworking between operation, maintenance and product marketing, external cooperation with contractors, suppliers, engineers and inspection agencies, safety performance and the quality of the work carried out, as well as all the achieved results.
Turnaround plan of action
We create an action plan with you on the basis of the analysis. This includes creating HSE Plans, a Project Execution Plan, a Tender & Contracting Plan and a QA & QC Plan.
