Douglas E. Meikle

Douglas E. Meikle is the Chief Executive Officer and memer of the Board Management of Stork Technical Services, a $1.5 billion corporation offering maintenance management and overhaul services to the Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Power industries.
Doug is also member of the Executive Board of Stork B.V., the holding company.

Doug joined the oil industry in 1984, and in the 1990s participated in, and supervised, petroleum engineering projects defining work scopes and completion of projects to customer specifications in Syria, Pakistan, Argentina, Bolivia, UK, and Australia. 

He was recruited by Landmark in 1998 to define the strategy of a new business line, for which he doubled the business size in 18 months.  Over 10 years, he rose through various operations roles to head Halliburton’s Landmark & Project Management Product Service Line.  This PSL was approximately a $1 billion dollar business of 2400 people working in 65 countries with services ranging from software development to oil and gas investment.  In 2008, he was named Vice President for Halliburton’s Europe Eurasia group, which is a diverse $2.5 billion portfolio of businesses with a workforce of 7,000 people over a geography ranging from Norway to Sakhalin.

Douglas has a B.Sc. Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, and a B.D. of Theology from the University of Aberdeen, both in the United Kingdom. Among his educational and leadership accomplishments is the completion of the Harvard Advanced Management Program in 2007.
He is married to wife Karen, has three children, and resides in The Netherlands.
