As of 1 December 2010, Joost Smulders is Senior Vice President Supply Chain Management and also a member of the Executive Management team of Stork Technical Services, a $1.5 billion corporation offering maintenance management and overhaul services to the Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Power industries. |
Joost Smulders started his career in Supply Chain Management in 1992 at Stork Brabant, after which he worked for PWC in 1998 as senior consultant in Supply Chain management for companies served by Stork Technical Services that are central in our strategy (oil & gas, energy- and chemicalindustries).
From 1998 to 2007 Joost held a number of positions at Vanderlande Industries in the Supply Chain Management area, most recently as Director of International Sourcing & Supply Chain.
From 2007 Joost has been working as Executive Interim Manager in the fields of Supply Chain Management and Operations, as well as on restructuring, cost reduction and result improvement projects.
Joost (’65) successfully completed a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, specialising in Production & Logistics Management.
