High Pressure Equipment

Stork Technical Services applies thinking and doing to lay the foundation for optimal production of high pressure equipment within the Chemical, Oil & Gas and Power Industries.

Whether it’s in our state-of-the-art shop or at the customer site, we offer services that are integral to reliable, safe production.

Among our services for pressure vessels, reactors, heat exchangers and other high pressure equipment:

  • Engineering solutions
  • Maintenance
  • Repairs
  • Overhauls
  • Modifications

Specific to heat exchangers is our retubing service, which offers superior tooling and technical assistance for high quality, timely repairs.

Our niche specialty is ultra high pressure equipment (with autofrettage up to 14.000 bar).  Ultra high pressure equipment is used in low density polyethylene (LDPE) production, urea synthesis, hydrogenation and hydroforming, subsea oil and gas exploration, food processing (HPP), isostatic presses, waterjet cutting and supercritical fluids applications .

Stork’s high pressure equipment customers have come to rely on flexible service, combined with materials, welding and engineering technology, to solve their problems and ensure the integrity of their assets. We think and do, so you can focus on your business.

This may be why an international chemical company contacted Stork when a broken mixing-drying shaft threatened downtime that could cost millions of dollars in lost production. Stork immediately investigated the cause and, collaborating with the customer, engineered a solution that improved both the material of the shaft as well as the welding techniques to fix it.

It is also why a nuclear power customer has selected Stork to service its high pressure equipment and collaborate on long-term strategies to improve efficiencies across the board. It’s our innovative spirit, technical know-how and hands-on service that positions us to support this industry now and in the future.
