Igor Vermeulen is Executive Vice President Human Resources (HR), and Member of the Executive Management Team for Stork Technical Services, a $1.5 billion corporation offering maintenance management and overhaul services to the Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Power industries.

He is responsible for the company’s management and talent development—and all Human Resources policies and systems—to ensure a value-driven world class organization focused on Stork’s global customer base. 

Igor worked for the Royal Dutch Army from 1985 – 1998, where he assumed positions of increasing responsibility within Human Resources, including a role as a member of the Army’s management team. He then joined Leen Bakker Holding as Head of Personnel & Organization, where he restructured the company’s HR organization and implemented HR support among all regions. After assuming his position as VP of Human Resources for Stork WorkSphere & Stork Infratechniek in 2001, Igor orchestrated the sales of the Human Resources functions for Infratechniek and WorkSphere to Heijmans and Strukton, respectively. He led a major restructuring process supportive of Stork’s “thinking and doing” business model, and most recently, streamlined various departments into one HR organization with professional processes and associated tools/methodologies in place.

Igor holds Bacherlor’s Degrees in Human Resources Management, and Management, Economics & Law, and a Master of Arts Degree in Managing Human Resources from the University of West England, Bristol. He is married, has one son, and resides in The Netherlands.
