Maintenance Management Delivery
As different as they are, our customers have one thing in common: A desire to continuously improve the performance of their installations, production lines and equipment. They want less downtime, higher reliability and lower costs. This is why they turn to Stork Technical Services for their maintenance management delivery needs. We aim to decrease the downtime while increasing production for world class Oil & Gas, Energy and Chemical industries anywhere in the world.
At Stork, we collaborate closely with our customers’ operations, engineering and maintenance departments to analyze, organize and maintain their assets. By leveraging our experience through an extensive global client base, we are able to determine best practices resulting not only with maintenance (doing), but future optimization (thinking) as well. It’s our depth and breadth of experience that allows us to challenge or prepare asset management strategies and maintenance philosophies.
The Process:
In collaboration with the client, we prepare Failure Mode & Effect Analysis by interpreting the performance of the asset and the maintenance records, followed by root cause analysis. and propose changes to the maintenance plans. This is always done with complete asset optimization and reduced downtime in mind.
Next, we prioritize failures and their potential effects on production to set joint priorities, thus allowing focus on critical items and optimization of efficient maintenance execution. We then execute maintenance within the agreed windows to satisfy legislation and reliability.
Thinking and Doing:
Our culture of thinking and doing allows us to deliver high quality maintenance services while reducing maintenance needs through the application of best practices. Stork itself learns from experience and improves its practices and clients’ practices for additional sites. This is why a global Power customer has selected us to work on their power plant—they know we will apply improved optimization practices, which can subsequently be rolled out for their other plants. It’s also why we’ve been hired by an international Chemical company to create and execute programs for each of the company’s turnarounds.
In short, we can reduce downtime by reducing corrective maintenance and extending the time between operations without jeopardizing reliable production activities. This reduces the total cost of operations for the client. And of course, we deliver the execution of maintenance on time and within budget.
