Piping
Customers in world class Chemical, Oil & Gas, and Power industries rely on Stork Technical Service’s highly trained and capable workforce for consistent, high quality, dimensionally exact piping every day. We fabricate all types of industrial process piping, including chemical, utility, and sanitary grades, with a capacity of 150,000 to 200,000 weld inches per year.
Our fabrication shop—which offers outdoor and indoor storage for large and small fittings and flanges—works on integral projects such as the optimization of semi-automatic and submerged arc welding. Our capabilities include the fabrication and welding of all CS, low alloy SS and Duplex materials.
Beyond the fabrication and welding of piping products, Stork’s own Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) operators apply the highest level of technical expertise to analyze material properties, and locate and characterize flaws within materials, fabricated parts and assemblies.
Skids
Our culture of thinking and doing means Stork is a one-stop-shop for piping customers around the globe. Our skids are multidisciplinary constructions, combining structural and equipment installation, piping insulation, E/I and other elements. Created in our indoor construction hall, our skids can load-out on ships or barges including cranes, floating cranes or Ro-Ro. Customers have even relied on Stork for the fabrication of Off-Shore modules up to 1,600 tons.
This may be why one international industrial gas company hired Stork to create all of its cold box skids, while a world-class energy corporation relies on us for its pumping skids. We are currently building over 40 crossheader modules for a major European independent tank terminal company, with more projects lined up to continue offering value on time and within budget.
