It is hard to imagine the Dutch and international road racing scene without the Rabobank professional cycling teams. This ‘pride of Holland’ has been racing the roads for more than 15 years. Training, counselling and coaching talented cyclists, most of them Dutch, are of paramount importance to the teams. The current generation, with standard-bearer Robert Gesink in the vanguard, as well as youngsters such as Boom, Langeveld, Kruijswijk and Bos are bursting with impatience to put in good performances. As well as the world team Rabobank has a continental team and an off-road team. |

Until the end of 2012 Stork Technical Services (STS) is to be the sponsor of the technical team of Rabo Cycling Team. This coming Sunday Doug Meikle, CEO of STS, and Harold Knebel, director of Rabo Cycling Team, will sign the sponsorship contract during the Amstel Gold Race. This makes STS the official supplier of Rabo Cycling Team. In the context of this role STS will support the Rabo mechanics in various ways. |

As the official maintenance team sponsor, Stork Technical Services will advise, and offer innovative concepts to, the Rabobank mechanics regarding maintenance, stock control, truck design, warehouse and the safety of the vehicle fleet. In addition, Stork Technical Services will supply some of the equipment to help carry out the technical work even better as well as provide the riders with top-class materials. |
